GLOBAL KIDS

“Global Kids “ is an international project building on cultural visits of young artists from countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia. The youth groups lead workshops with Danish kids and perform at local schools and they contribute to ”the international dimension” and to intercultural competences at schools.

In these activities SPOR Media cooperates with different partners – mainly KinderKulturKarawane (Germany) and the Municipality of Kalundborg Kommune.

The visiting groups all represent project which aim at giving poor children and youth a voice through culture.

In 2005 SPOR Media produced a 14 minutes documentary: “CIRCOmpa - på besøg i Vestsjælland“.

In 2010 Baobab from Ghana visited Denmark.
In 2008 it was M.U.K.A. from Sydafrika
In 2006 og 2007 Teatro Trono from Compa in Bolivia came along
In 2005 the circus project MMCC from Afghanistan
And in 2004 of CIRCOmpa also from Compa in Bolivia.
