Eight young artists ‘Nafsi Youngsters’ from Nafsi Africa* on tour in Denmark invited by Spor Media’s Global Kids project. They come from the big city slums of Kenya to a small community in Southern Jutland with a school and a village guild ready to welcome them. For two days, they stay with families from the school and both children and adults learn about different life situations and what climate change and environmental degradation means for people and nature in a completely different part of the world.

The project has received support from CISU.

*Nafsi Africa is a grassroots organization in Nairobi, Kenya. Several times a week, volunteers train over 300 children and youth in the slums of Nairobi. They learn acrobatics, dance and music, gain skills and confidence and get away from the dangers of the streets.
Since 2014, Spor Media and Nafsi Africa have collaborated on several projects: Global Kids, Manzi Rada, Global Stay Tours and Tangaza.
