Nafsi Africa

The film about Nafsi Africa* is about the history of the organization and its cultural activities in the slums of Nairobi, as well as the importance of Nafsi artists’ tours in Denmark / Europe. The film also takes us to the countryside to meet climate activist Kisilu Musya, the protagonist of ‘Thank you for the rain’ – an international documentary about the consequences of climate change in Kenya.

*Nafsi Africa is a grassroots organization in Nairobi, Kenya. Several times a week, volunteers train over 300 children and youth in the slums of Nairobi. They learn acrobatics, dance and music, gain skills and confidence and get away from the dangers of the streets.
Since 2014, Spor Media and Nafsi Africa have collaborated on several projects: Global Kids, Manzi Rada, Global Stay Tours and Tangaza.
