The ÆRØ Experiment:

The state of the planet demands action NOW

When two residents of ÆRØ, Louise and Maja, decided three years ago to meet the climate challenges with local initiatives, it was the start of the ÆRØ Experiment – a project that involves citizens in the fight for the green transition.

The experiment engages the islanders in a curious and investigative joint project to discuss, exchange experiences and share doubts, frustrations and tricks in relation to how easy or difficult it can be to make it part of everyday life to take care of the environment.

Director Helle Toft Jensen/Spor Media chose to follow the experiment with her camera and in this way contribute with inspiring stories about what we can all do to push development in the right direction.

The preliminary footage has now been edited down to a 26-minute presentation, which at “FILM & DIALOGUE meetings” on Ærø is helping to further accelerate the necessary green transition.
