44 young Kenyan women and men have so far received their training certificatesfrom Nafsi Africa/Spor Media’s Tangaza (Swahili for ‘shout out’) project.
They have been trained to use their smartphones for video and audio recording and journalistic storytelling techniques.
Now they’re about to start making their own podcasts and videos from the slums where they live.
