The main objective of “Una vida sin violencia” was to target new generations and engage young people in the fight against gender-based violence using an artistic model of social dialogue. The project was based on Teatro Trono’s pedagogical methodologies and years of work and development of creative and interactive processes.
The entire process became an important experience to all participants and managed to achieve the project goals. First by making the participants aware of gender violence in their own lives and giving them action competences for their future. Secondly the participants created a strong theatre performance with the potentials to engage audiences in the theme. And thirdly, they showed the performance at many schools and organized debates with the audiences in El Alto.
